Day two on the water with our returning group proved exactly why we love these multi-day trips. After a successful start, we decided to shift tactics entirely, moving away from the trolling rods to focus on a more active approach. The change in strategy paid off immediately as we got straight to work on a solid school of fish. The highlight of the day included landing two impressive specimens weighing in at 2.78 lbs and 2.54 lbs. After a few quick photos, we made sure to let those larger fish swim off to fight another day, ensuring the health of our local Mississippi fishery. We rounded out the trip by hitting a full boat limit of perfect "eaters" for the cooler. The Jenko Fishing X-15 proved to be an incredible tool for the job, handling every hookset with ease. We are already counting down the days until this group returns next year.
